I came across this great article this morning. It covers many areas of link building "naturally" and how to create content worthy of linking to. The author himself does a good job of it since here I am linking to his article about linking to articles! He goes on to list a number of excellent techniques used for marketing your content, web site, or blog. Perhaps a little over complicated for the novice, but he obviously knows what he's talking about.
